I know, it has been a long time since I've posted here. I am very sorry. Life has been chaos to say the least. Between the kids school activities, work, Blaine & I testing to go back to school ourselves this fall, it's been hectic. I am hoping things start to calm down for the most part since we are winding down the school year.
 I have still been playing and designing as I can, slower than usual but I must admit, this has now become my new favorite kit! It's in the Diners Club this month, so you can get the whole kit and a bunch of other goodies from some of my fellow designers for just FIVE bucks! Subway can't even beat that!



There is of course other goodness happening, too!

For me, it really is all about the music. It plays non stop most of the time. I have playlists on so many websites it's not funny. I have music apps on my phone, my ipod probably couldn't hold another note. Music has always been a comfort for me. I have now passed passion down to my kids. If there is no music playing at the time, they will make some. They are constantly singing something. It seemed only fitting that I had some type of music kit for all those pictures I have of them singing karaoke and bouncing off the walls. Of course we can't forget the big moment when my oldest daughter sang Adeles Someone Like You on stage for the very first time, in front of a crowd for her 4th grade talent show! I was one proud momma let me tell you!
I knew, however, that I would work on this kit forever and a day if I didn't bring in some help. I could only think of one person that would make this what my vision was, only she didn't. She made it better! I am thrilled to have gotten to work with Jen again! I think you are going to  love this collection just as much as we do.

Before we get to the sneak peeks for tomorrow I need to finish up yesterdays business. I loved reading your comments and finding out what your favorite holiday treats are. I have to agree with the peanut butter bon-bons. Those are on my list to make this week too! It would really have to be a toss up for me though, between those and cherry chip cake. Not an actual holiday treat I don't think but I could always count on my grandmother having this for us on Christmas Eve. She would even add food coloring to make the cake pink!

I love Thursdays, it means lots of new stuff in the shop! This week I have something new too. I guess I should say "WE" have something new. Jen and I have teamed up again and brought you Baked With Love. You will want to stick around through the entire post, promise!
 The holidays always make me think of lots of baking. The house full of the sweet smells that those cakes and cookies and candies give off as they are being cooked to perfection. The coming together over all of those things, making sure everyone has some of their favorites. Sharing those treats with friends, neighbors and co-workers just to see them smile.
 This year, it's my turn. Starting next week I will be in the kitchen until Christmas Eve. I have such a long list of things to be made. I'm looking forward to the cooking actually, the cleanup not so much. There's even a special surprise planned for a particular family member which I am really looking forward to. More details later, can't spoil the surprise ya know.
